Here's to Connection!
Welcome to my new newsletter! I finally found a replacement platform for Mailchimp. Please mark this email address as safe, add it to your contacts, and move it out of your spam or promotions folder if you would like to keep receiving updates.
Plus, you can now sign up for a paid tier to see more of my work! Starting at £3.50 per month. For this, you will receive at least one extra piece of writing each month, which will be more personal- it might be an essay, a creative piece, a reflection on something that's happened recently, or a look at my process. I am excited to see how it will take shape. If you'd like to support what I do, please sign up here.
And don't worry, my regular monthly newsletter will always be free.
New Flash & Wannado's

On Friday, the 13th of March, Sacred Art is hosting a flash day, and I will be tattooing from this new flash sheet at reduced prices! Usually these would be £100-200, but for the flash day I'll be doing them for between £60 (the ginkgo leaf)-£120 (the two herons, the bird/flower). Any designs I don't do on the day will still be available for regular prices.
I originally stuck to my plan and drew it up with pens and pencils, then this morning decided to add some more designs, so here's a digital version. I have limited slots, so click the link below to book!
March Availability
I will have more availability at Sacred Art going forward, as I am once again tattooing on Fridays. I can't wait to spend more time in the studio with you.

Friday 6th: 12.30 pm, 4 pm
Friday 20th: 3 pm

More of This!
This is where I feature work I’ve done recently that I’d like to do more of. It doesn’t mean repeat designs, but working in a similar style or subject to the feature.

I loved doing this sweet moon from my flash for Henna! I've shied away from faces and human forms in my art, but I'd like to change that. I also love the mix of bolder and finer lines. More plz.
Mutual Aid Request
Each month, I highlight a cause or organisation doing good things that could use more money! I will always donate to whoever I feature.
Pal Humanity is a global initiative led by two Palestinian sisters and physicians, Dr. Nour and Dr. Nagham, who are working directly on the ground in Gaza.
They founded Pal Humanity to deliver immediate relief and build sustainable, long-term support systems for families living through crisis. Click here to donate.

What I've Been...
Reading- Hell Followed With Us by Andrew Joseph White. It's a trans YA dystopia. Much religious and epidemic trauma. It's ok, I'll finish it, not blown away, but then its intended audience is probably me 20 years ago, and I should read more grown-up books. I'm also still inching my way through Dracula by Bram Stoker.
Watching- I like this season of Bridgerton because Benedict is the least unpleasant of the leading men, in that he's queer and not such a red flag parade. That the staff/servants feature more immediately problematises the world-building, because as soon as you think too hard, you realise that every single servant, paper-boy and maid should indeed rise up against their masters, who let's be honest, probably gained most of that wealth from the transatlantic slave trade.
Eat the rich includes the Bridgertons.
Listening to- I absolutely love Mon Rovîa's new album, Bloodline. So beautiful and moving. Give it a listen!
That's all for now
I hope you're able to write a few words you enjoy this month, even if it's just a note for a lover, a card for family, or a text to a friend. Bonus points if you do anything more.
I leave you with a picture of E clambering around the pews during a hallucinatory stay-and-play with hundreds of children in a church in South Norwood.
Sian xoxo
