Here's to July
June has been wonderful, aside from the heat. Thank you to anyone who's got tattooed lately! Solidarity to anyone vulnerable to it, or anyone raising small children. It doesn't slow them down; it just makes them angrier.
This month, paid-tier subscribers can read "36 Ways Parenting Changed Me". I paywall this stuff because it's personal, and a thin barrier between my writing and the General Internet feels safer.
If you'd like to read more of my work or support what I do in this way, please sign up here. My regular monthly newsletter will always be free.
New Designs
Here are some lovely pen-and-ink designs from my new A5 sketch/flash book! I'm loving being able to work on one piece at a time, on the go. When the book is full, you'll be able to flip through it at the studio. These are repeatable, but I can do custom versions. They start at £140.

Prints!
Thank you to everyone who has bought prints so far! I have some copies at the studio, so if you'd like to buy one during an appointment, just let me know then. The 'mini Tattooed Golem' print is A5. 'And I Will Never be Able to Touch You' is A4. Both digital prints on Perlino Cotton Paper.
I do ship worldwide, but I am based in the UK, and if you are not, please select "International Standard Shipping" at checkout rather than "Standard Shipping"

More of This!
This is where I feature recent work I’d like to do more of. It doesn’t mean repeating designs, but working in a similar style or on a similar subject.

Mutual Aid Request
Each month, I highlight a cause or organisation that could use more money. I will always donate to whoever I feature.
Gus is a trans man who has recently come home from prison in urgent need of support to help cover legal costs in his fight to bring his children back to the safety of his home. Click here to donate.

What I've Been...
Reading- I'm about halfway through Uprooted by Naomi Novik. I LOVE it. It's well-written, readable, and interesting fantasy. I love how Novik writes magic, it's always compelling. Five stars.
Watching- We are rewatching the L Word- an early 00s drama about a group of lesbians in LA. Has it aged well? Yes and no! The ways in which the characters are flawed (have they heard of consent?!) is what makes it great.
The show isn't excusing or dismissing terrible behaviour, just laying it out. I think in many ways it reflects our own messy communities! Queer people can say and do truly terrible things. It definitely lacks diversity, particularly in terms of race/class/body size. Like, where are the fat dykes? Life is so bland without! But then many queer communities are overwhelmingly white, middle-class and thin, so even this is another way it reflects our flawed worlds.
Listening to- Sheryl Crow's self-titled album is perfect for the summer, and I recommend it highly for wearing sunglasses and being on public transport.
That's all for now
I hope you're able to enjoy the sun.
I leave you with a picture of my fave babe being a pond goblin.
Sian xoxo
